In Tokio is het niet echt gezellig. Reusachtig monsters staan om de stad en proberen deze binnen te dring. Is een monster binnen gekomen dan gaan ze pas echt los. Er wordt gevocht, geschoten en gegooit tot dat er nog maar een monster over is. King of Tokio is een dobbel/kaart spel. De spelers gooien met dobbelstenen waarmee ze kaarten en meer levens kunnen krijgen . Weet je op het juiste moment met de goeie worp, de beste kaart uit te spelen, dan kan jij misschien wel de laatste vijand verslaan en de koning van Tokio worden. In 2013 heeft King of Tokio de Nederlandse Spellen prijs gewonnen in de familie categorie. Richard Garfield (de auteur) heeft hem vast op zijn nacht kastje staan.

The trays have space for the original game and the Power Up!© and Halloween expansions. The design provides both efficient storage and improved game play.
